Born in San Antonio, Texas, Albert Garcia came into the world as the beloved son of Gilbert B. Garcia and Eva Tovar. His journey through life was unexpectedly cut short at the age of 48, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.
Albert was more than a devoted husband, father, son, and friend — he was the heart of every room, the soul of every adventure, and the steady presence his loved ones could always count on. He leaves behind his wife and best friend, Annmarie G. Garcia. Though they were married for seven years, their love story spanned over two decades — 21 beautiful years of laughter, challenges, and unshakable devotion. Together, they raised three children whom Albert cherished more than life itself: Meagan A. Nerio, Michael Nerio Jr., and Evalynda M. Garcia.
Albert lived with an unmatched zest for life. Outgoing and endlessly adventurous, he was always dreaming up the next outing — from spontaneous road trips with no set destination to afternoons spent at local parks and water spots, his joy was in the journey and in making memories with the people he loved. He had a way of turning the ordinary into something magical.
Generous to the core, Albert never hesitated to lend a helping hand, whether at work, among friends, or to a stranger in need. His kindness was effortless, and his loyalty ran deep.
Holidays were Albert’s time to shine — and shine he did. He celebrated every holiday with childlike wonder and heartfelt enthusiasm, decorating every inch of the house, inside and out, to spread joy to all who passed by. His home was a reflection of the joy he carried within.
Albert found joy in the simple pleasures — watching anime, playing Pokémon Go, tackling Sudoku puzzles, and, most endearingly, capturing candid photos of Annmarie when she wasn’t looking. Every click of his camera held a moment of affection.
In recent years, he discovered a new love: bargain shopping. With every discounted treasure, he found something that reminded him of someone dear. He had a gift for seeing love in little things — a toy, a trinket, a random find — and turning it into a token of connection.
Albert’s absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his love lives on in the laughter of his children, the memories shared with his wife, and the countless lives he touched simply by being himself.
We will miss his energy, his passion, his humor, and the warmth he brought into every room. But most of all, we will miss the way he loved — fully, fiercely, and without condition.
Rest in peace, Albert. Your adventure continues in our hearts.
