Albert F. Hinojosa

Albert F. Hinojosa born May 18, 1927 in San Antonio, Texas went to be with our Lord on November 30, 2017 at the age of 90. He was preceded in death by parents, Albert & Carmen Hinojosa and sister, Carmen Sanchez. He is survived by the love of his life for 45 years, Virginia D. Garcia; children, Albert Hinojosa (Sue), Carmen Garza, Philip Hinojosa (Loretta), Candice Bashm (Ray), 3 grandchildren, step-children, Michael A. Garcia (Oralia Mendez), Sandra J. Torres (Leroy) 8 step-grandchildren and sisters, Alice Lozano and Caroline Sanchez.

Albert had a great passion for playing golf; he was a past member of the USGA Rules Committee, the Pan American Golf Association and the Weekenders Golf Club. He also loved to visit the Kickapoo Casino every chance he had. Albert will be truly missed by friends/ acquaintances especially those at his favorite hangout J&R.

A visitation will be held Monday, December 4, 2017 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at St. John Berchmans’ Catholic Church at 12:00 p.m. with interment to follow at San Fernando II Cemetery.
