Albert John Reyes

Albert was a graduate of John Jay High school and shortly after, he joined the United States Army where he served from 1990-1996. He was in the 1st Calvary Infantry in Desert Storm. He was Army strong and Army motivated. Upon completing his term, he was ranked as a Sargent.

For the last 15 years, he was a dedicated employee of Toyota.

Albert and Tillie Jura (great grandparents), Mary F. Cadena (grandmother), Melinda A. Cadena (mother) and Arthur R. Cadena (uncle).

He is survived by his high school sweetheart/wife Susana Reyes, son Albert John Reyes Jr. and daughter Marisela Reyes, sister Charlotte Reyes and Pineda, sister Sherri Reyes, Macario Reyes Jr. (father), Mr. and Mrs. Vara (In-laws), Brother in law Francisco Vara Jr. and wife Susie, Sister in law Graciela Zuniga and husband Eduardo, Brother in law Alfredo Vara and Sister in law Veronica Vara and Kevin.

He had several cousins, nieces and nephews whom he loved and adored. Binky and Shortcake his dogs.

A visitation for Albert John will be held Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Honors will be presented at 5:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218
