He was a veteran of the Korean War 805th Operations Squadron in the Air Force as a Teletype Technician and was awarded the Korean Service Medal; United Nations Service Medal; National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.
Albert also played saxophone and was a member of Felix Solis and his Orchestra, entertaining many, at weddings, galas and birthdays. He also enjoyed playing softball for the Blue Angels and coached his sons in Little League.
