Albert "Wally" Wallace

MSgt. Albert Jack (Wally) Wallace, Ret. U.S. Air Force, born on October 23, 1948 in Evansville, Vandenburg, Indiana to Alfred Joshua Wallace and Valta Eugenia Chapman was called to be with the Lord on May 5, 2017 at the age of 68. He graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in Mt. Vernon, Indiana and attended Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana. He loved to cook, bake, and travel. His hobbies included woodworking, an avid collector of guns and enjoyed shooting competitions. He volunteered for Resurrection of the Lord Parish and St. Vincent de Paul Society. He retired from the United States Air Force with an exemplary work ethic, commitment and loyalty to his country. He is preceded in death by his wife, Azalia (Sally) G. Wallace. He is survived by his brother-in-law, Sergio M. Gonzales and wife, Diana R. Gonzales; cousin, Sue Ellen Richardson of Indiana; companion, Delia Reed; nieces and nephew, Karissa Loren, Kenna Jane and Kevin Luke Gonzales. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday May 16, 2017 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Graveside Service and Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at San Fernando Cemetery No.2. with military honors.
