He is preceded in death by his son, Nicholas Lopez; mother-in-law, Diane Hernandez.
He is survived by his wife, Delilah G. Penuelaz; children, Adam, Roxanne and Valerie Penuelaz; Brianna Adam and step children who loved and cared for him, Christopher Lopez and Andrianna Lopez; father, Alfonso Penuelaz Jr.; mother, Nieves Castillo; also, numerous grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, and 2 sisters; sisters-in-law, Yvonne Gonzalez, Marina Bretado and Misty Hernandez who were very close and caring to Alfonso; brother -in-law, Isaiah Hernandez.
