Alfred Bloomingdale Cortinas, Jr.

Alfred Bloomingdale Cortinas Jr., born on April 10, 1973 in San Antonio, Texas was called home to be with the Lord on May 28, 2015 at the age 42. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leopoldo and Margarita Cortinas; aunt, Gloria Cortinas Granado; maternal grandmother, Theresa Kenny. He is survived by his children, Leia Belen Cortinas, Liliana Theresa Cortinas and Lucas Alfred Cortinas; father and stepmother, Alfredo V. and Elva Cortinas; mother, Mary Therese Garza; brother, Javier Jacob Garza; second mom/aunt; Janie Gaither; cousin/brother, Tomas Montez; best friend/brother,Jay King; girlfriend, Jennifer Tamayo; also, The Cortinas Family, The Bloomingdale Family, The Granado Family, The Lopez Family, The Beekeepers Family and The De La Pena Family. A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church, 8510 S. Zarzamora St., San Antonio, Texas 78224. The services will conclude at the church.The Family would like to give special thanks to the Kindred Hospital Staff for all of their care and support.
