Alfred "Fred" D. Longoria

Alfred "Fred" D. Longoria passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021 at the age of 87 in San Antonio, Texas. Born December 26, 1933, he is preceded in death by his parents, Leonardo Colunga Longoria and Josefina Diaz Longoria; his siblings, Antonio Longoria who had passed in World War II, Joe Longoria, Augistine Longoria, and Esther Longoria; and his grandson, Steven Longoria.

Fred is survived by his beloved wife, Beatrice; his children, Deborah Sandoval (Ruben), Irma Macias (Mike), Sylvia Lopez (David) and Alfred S. Longoria (Carol); his 11 grandchildren; his 15 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Leonard, William, Virginia and Josie; and his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who loved him.

Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the Visitation at Funeraria del Angel Trevino - 226 Cupples Road 78237 - will be limited to 50 people in the building at a time. Face Coverings are required to be worn.

The family will be receiving friends on Friday, February 19th from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. On Saturday, February 20th, a Procession will depart at 8:45 AM to arrive at St. Jude Catholic Church – 130 South San Augustine Avenue 78237 – for a Mass at 9:00 AM. Entombment at San Fernando Cemetery II has been postponed due to the weather conditions and will be announced at a later date.
