Alice E. Pates, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2005. A loyal employee to Stewart Title Company for 48 years, Alice loved traveling to Cancun, Las Vegas and her favorite spot was Port Aransas, TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Oma Smith; and her niece, Kerry Smith.
Alice is survived by her daughter, Diana L. Pates of San Antonio, TX.; a brother, James R. Smith of Ft. Worth, TX.; and nieces, Peggy Hoelscher and Mary Hilton; a nephew, Bobby Smith all of Ft. Worth, TX; great nephews and nieces, Johnathan and Kerry Hilton, Chris Connell, Blair Smith, Leah Ball and husband, Brad; and Traci Smith.
The family wishes to extend their special gratitude to all the family and friends that helped Alice through her illness.
