Alicia R. Cena

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Alicia R. Cena on December 17, 2025. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She lived a full life, and served her family, her church, and her community through her generosity and helpfulness.

Alicia was born in Lockhart, Texas on September 4, 1934. She grew up in Gonzales, Texas, and later moved to San Antonio with her husband and children.

Alicia was a devoted wife who was married for 61 years. She had eight children, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She worked tirelessly to make sure her loved ones were taken care of.

Alicia is survived by her children Lee (Janice), Steve, Mary Alice (Louis), Peter, Albert, Dominic, and Terry (Michael), grandchildren Veronica, Michael, Megan, Julianne, Zachary, Lee Anthony, Paul, and great-grandson Cash. She is preceded in death by her sisters Sylvia, Connie, and brothers Guadalupe, Luciano, and Roberto, and by her husband Librado Cena, and daughter Natalie Rose Cena.

A rosary will be held at St. John Berchman Catholic Church on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 7:00 pm. Internment at Ft. Sam Houston will be on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 10:30 am.
