

She was born in Rio Grande City in 1927, lived much of her youth as a migrant farm worker before settling down with her husband in San Antonio to raise five sons. She touched all who knew her with her kindness and gentle heart. She brought dignity, grace and unbounded love to the world and to her family. We will miss her and the light she brought into our lives.
Alicia is preceded in death by her husband, Baldemar Cantu Ramirez and their son, Baldemar Villarreal Ramirez.
She is survived by her beloved children, Jose and Olivia Ramirez of Johnson City, TX, Hector and Connie Ramirez, Roberto Ramirez, Ricardo and Lydia Ramirez all of San Antonio, TX; 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Consuelo Gonzalez and Catalina Garza; brother, Jesus Villarreal all of Weslaco TX and sisters-in-law, Ophelia Sanchez of Carpentersville IL., Guadalupe Ramirez of Bastrop TX and Jesusa Ramirez of San Antonio.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary on McCullough.
