

Allen Watson Jr., born in Corpus Christi Texas on August 21, 1928, and died on November, 27, 2012 at the age of 84 to complications of cancer. He resided in San Antonio, TX for the last 60 years of his life. He was a loving Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and an Employee of Pro Plus Mills for over 40 years.
He was the loving Husband of the late Paula (Vasques) Watson. He is survived by his Daughters, Blenda Lamkin, Margaret Howard of Phenix City, AL, Patricia Brannon, Tina Watson Tarver, and Son Allen Watson III; eleven Grandchildren, Aaron Woods, Candice Santanna, Jason Green, Erica Tarver, Derek Reed, Vanessa Lamkin, Nathaniel Reed, Herman Lampkin, Paula Sherman, Janielle Tarver, Lillian Howard, and nine Great Grandchildren; two Brothers, John Forrest Watson and Ambrose Watson; three Sisters, Anita Dimery Riley, Mary Abalos and Gloria Guillery; and longtime friend Ms. Beatrice Williams.
A heart filled thanks to his long term caregivers, Dr. Kadockia and Nurse Sandra Greer for her dedicated support for the last five years. Sandra has been more than a provider to this family; over the years she has become a sister and friend.
Also, a special thanks to his immediate caregivers Tina Watson Tarver, Terence Tarver, Aaron Woods, Candice Santanna, and Nathaniel Reed.
Allen Watson Jr., loved life and lived it to the fullest. Unbeknown to most, he was a born again Christian who cursed like a Sailor to the end. Gone but never forgotten.
We love you Daddy; always.
Mr. Watson will lie in state on Sunday, December 2, 2012, from 12:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
