SMSGT Allen James Williams, Retired U.S. Air Force, served 27 years, passed away August 24, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Plantersville, Alabama on December 18, 1936 to Corbin and Ruth Williams. He was survived by his wife Loreen Williams whom he was married to for 57 years; son, Allen (butch) and wife Cynthia, Dwight and wife Mendie, Michael and wife Cynthia; grandchildren, Christopher, Alyssa, Dwight Jr., Loren, Miles, and Cidney; surviving brothers, Alfred, Hornsby, Dennis, Rufus, and Kenneth; Sister Bettie Spragings: and deceased brother Stantly; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera road on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted at 8:15 A.M. Friday, September 1, 2017 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors.
