Almond Eugene "Robbie" Roberts, 87, died on March 17, 2017, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born July 4, 1929 in Lake City, Arkansas to the late Edward Steven Roberts and Willie May (Terry) Roberts. He retired in 1974 after serving 26 years of active duty in the United States Air Force. Post USAF employment in the surrounding San Antonio Texas area included McKee Aviation, National Airlines, Schnick Aviation and Whetstone Aviation.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Leslie, Rudolph, Farris and Richard Roberts; two sisters, Inez (Roberts) Clark and Violet (Roberts) Ford; and one son, Kevin Eugene Roberts. Survivors include his wife, Adelaide (Eicholtz) Roberts, two daughters, Sharon Lynn (Roberts) Bealer and Marcia Michelle (Roberts) Kniery and her husband Dennis; three granddaughters, Angela Razara, Tiffani Farrington, and Cori Roberts; one brother, Charles Roberts; and one sister, Eula (Roberts) Guilliam
