Alonso DeWayne Jones, age 16, was born on May 16, 2003, in Fort Carson, Colorado to Albert DeWayne Jones, Sr. and Michelle Jones. He was a sweet and loving boy whose contagious smile always made others happy. Alonso loved camping, swimming, playing video games with his sisters, and wanted to be a video game animator when he grew up, but probably could have been a stand-up comedian. He was the world's finest Pokémon connoisseur, his favorite Pokémon was Charizard. Alonso enjoyed life and enjoyed people. He never met a stranger, everyone was a friend. His life ended much too soon on February 10, 2020.
Alonso is survived by his parents; three sisters, Krystallyn, Alyssa, and Alanah; three brothers, Albert Jr., Aaron, and Andrew; grandparents, James and Mary Hopkins, William and Vangie Madkins; five aunts, two uncles and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Sunday, February 16, 2020, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
