Alphonse Edward Draeger

He was born in San Antonio, Texas on November 30,1947 to Adelina San Miguel and Alphonse Draeger.

Alphonse E. Draeger had a career in Electrical for 57 years for Pro Electric for 18 years of his wonderful life. He was a member of Saint Agnes School; he gave 20 years to Sacred Heart Church where he served as an alter server & usher. He had a passion for spending time with family, shopping at Walmart, eating at Taquerias, telling old stories, listening to oldies, music, watching western movies.

Alphonse was preceded in death by his grandmother; Frieda San Miguel, mother; Adelina San Miguel, father; Alphonse Draeger, brothers; Jessie Ortiz & Alex Ortiz, and his sister; Olga Ramos.

He is survived by his loving wife Crecedia Draeger of 56 wonderful years of marriage, his 4 children; Son; Edward Draeger jr., Son; John F. Draeger., Daughter; Jo Ann Gutierrez (Rafael), Son; Joseph E. Draeger (Veronica), he is survived by 16 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren which he carried a special bond with them. He is survived by his sisters; Frieda G. Voeks and Theresa G. Murray.

A visitation for Alphonse will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237. A rosary service will occur Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 7:00 PM, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237. A mass of the resurrection will occur Friday, February 9, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, W Houston Street, San Antonio, Texas 78207.
