Amelia V. Plummer

Amelia graduated from San Felipe High School, class of 1952. Amelia attended Durham Business College. She worked for the Government for 33 years, beginning at Laughlin AFB, Del Rio, Naval Ordinance Station, Washington, DC and most of the years at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, San Antonio.

Amelia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, SGM John L. Plummer, USA; son, Gary M Vasbinder, Jr.; grandson, Grant Matthew Vasbinder.

She is survived by son, Theron Kelley Vasbinder and wife, Lori; daughter, Amy Vasbinder Moore and husband, Michael Moore; daughter, Janelle Rae Plummer; grandchildren, Sarah Moore Whiteman and husband, Paul Whiteman, Eric Moore, Chesley and Lea Vasbinder, all of San Antonio; sister, Minnie Velasquez McPhillips of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and numerous nieces, nephews from Maryland, one nephew and niece from Galveston and cousins in San Antonio and Del Rio, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 from 6:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m at Porter Loring.
