The Nazario Family sends their deepest condolences to the entire Rosa Family.  It was our privilege to have spent our childhood years as neighbors  to your wonderful family. Years we shall never forget and for which we are grateful.  Amelia was always very loving and gracious, and always opened her door to the neighborhood kids; even when                                    one of them (Dino) happened to have a burlap bag  with a snake in it. She had a great sense of humor. Now she is in heaven and leaves us to carry on.

I was sadden to hear of Amelia's passing. Even though it has been years since I had seen her, Amelia was always dear to me growing up. My deepest sympathy to you all  and you will all be in my prayers.

I remember Grandma cooking and enjoying spending time with her family.  She was happiest when we were all together. Her legacy will continue as we gather joyfully with the people we love.

You dedicated your life to your family.  You served as an example to what a wife and mother should be.  You treated extended family as your own.  When I married your daughter (Carmen), I was privileged to join your family.  May God
bless you and my you rest in peace.

Her kind words will be always be in my memories. One of her most known saying that comes to mind is: "Portarse bien" . She would say it softly with a wonderful smile and within her loving arms. Thank you for the love you showed my family and myself.

What I will always remember about Mama Rosa is how she loved her family. Whenever I came over she showed me every picture or album in the house. She was so proud of everyone. She always told me that her house was my house. She was one great lady and we all know where she is today

What I will never forget about  Mama Rosa is how much she loved her family. Whenever I was over she would point to pictures in the house or bring out albums of the family. She was so proud of everyone. I remember her always saying to me don't forget Paul my house is your house. She was a great lady and we all know where she is today.

I remember my grandma's sunday dinners...always prepared with much love..no matter what I will always treasure those memories of the whole family together laughing and having a meal prepared with great love...there are no better memories to have! Love you much grandma.

I could have never asked for a better Grandma. I remember when I was sitting outside and she said, "It's too cold outside, come in and put on a jacket." Another memory I have is when we stayed with her, she would tell us,"it is time to go to sleep,"  while we were watching a movie.

Mama "Yosa"  always used to playfully spank me, chasing me around the house saying, "I am going to pow pow you!"
She was a very good Grandma.

Grandma never received a paycheck but amazingly she was a caregiver,  nurse, healer, teacher, comedian and chef. She was a mother, friend and light to all who knew her. Her love was unconditional, she was a gentle soul. The wounds of our sadness are healed by the precious memories of her. She is now the star of her own novella in heaven. I love you, grandma.

I could never have asked or chosen a more loving, giving, and gracious Mother-in-law.  She never ceased to lavish her love on me and treated me like I was one of her  daughters.  I am grateful for the husband she gave me in Mario and will always affectionately and gratefully remember her as Mama Rosa.  I will miss her smile, her laughter, and her touch!!  All of Heaven rejoices with her arrival!!

Aunt Amelia-you forever touched my heart many years back. Your smile and your love for others can never be described because how much you had to give. I remember your beautiful face and how it would tug at my heart. You have raised the most amazing family and it's an honor to say they are my cousins. You leave a legacy within your children and their children . Your love will go on through them. Know you will continue to live through me. My heart aches but to know you are there with my father who loved you so much is a comfort. Be at peace Aunt Amelia my love for you is eternal and today I take with me dearly is all the wonderful memories of being at your home with my loving cousins. That is what I will treasure! Thank you being so amazing . I love you forever.
