Ana was born (and raised) in Santa Rita, Guam, to Juan G. and Rita T. Guzman (Familian "Texas"). After marrying our dad in June 1974, they lived in Colorado, California, and Florida before finally settling down in Texas. After raising five babies, she returned to work. From 1984 to 2004, Ana worked as a Budget Analyst at Fort Sam Houston, Corpus Christi Army Depot, Audie Murphy VA Medical Center Admin and Supply Services, and the USDA Western Region Office. In 2004, she transferred to US Army, Inst Mgmt Cmd in Fort Bliss, Texas, where she retired in 2008 after 24 years of government service. In the time since retiring, our mom dedicated herself to her growing family. She welcomed her children's spouses as her own, and loved spending time with her grandchildren giving them all special memories to remember of her. She was a great friend, sister, aunt and confidant to those who knew her. She will be missed by many.
Our mom is predeceased by our dad; sister; her beloved husband, Francisco Arriola; and daughter, Terena Guzman.
She is survived by her 4 loving children, Teresa Roper (Darnell), Francis Arriola (Sophia), Jon Wayne Arriola, Jeremy Arriola; and son-in-law, Mario Guzman. She is additionally survived by her 11 grandchildren, Teana, Telia, Telani (Teresa), George, Kaeo, Pomai, Makoa, Nohea (Francis), Antonio "Nio", Jon Jr. "JJ" (Jon Wayne), and Kiko (Jeremy); and 2 great-grandchildren, Angel and Estin.
