Andres dedicated his life to his faith, family, and love of sports. A devout Catholic, he was an active parishioner at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church for many years. He prayed the rosary daily and always kept his loved ones in prayer. Andres came from a large family he was the eldest of 10 children. He married his soulmate Rosa, who also came from a large family, creating a circle of love that extended far and wide. He was a father to three sons, a bonus dad to several, and had many adored grandchildren. He was an uncle to numerous nieces and nephews, a coach to many kids in his community, and a friend to all. He loved attending family functions, and when not sitting on the bench coaching his own teams, he could always be counted on to be in the stands or bleachers cheering on his sons, nieces, and nephews – regardless of sport. Andres was a Texas team sports fanatic. His favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Longhorns, San Antonio Spurs, and Houston Astros. He shared his love of sports with his children, who actively played sports throughout their childhoods, and his extended family. He loved coaching, attending games, and just talking sports in general.
