SPC Andrew Alan Leicht, U S Army, Cavalry, (Ret) was born in Bakersfield, CA on March 25, 1983 to Monte and Sherri (Kuzila) Leicht and departed for Fiddler’s Green on April 19, 2015 at the age of 32. He earned his Master’s degree in Social Work with the intent to serve his fellow soldiers.
Andrew is survived by his wife of 10 years, LaRae; his son, Ryan Andrew Leicht; and his step-sons, Caleb Drew Chambers,Stephen Schulle, and Adrian Schulle.. Andrew is also survived by his parents, Monte and Sherri Leicht; sister, Amanda Leicht-Sanger (Damon); brother, Phillip Leicht; niece, Victoria Marie Sanger; grandfather, George Allen Leicht; uncles, Matthew Kuzila (Gloria), Gregory Kuzila (Paula)and Aaron Leicht (Tammra).
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
