Mrs. Angela Parra Saenz, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, reached her eternal home and touched the face of God on April 16, 2016. She was born in Laredo, Texas on December 21, 1918. In 1946, she happily married the love of her life, Antonio Galvan Saenz and would spend the next 28 years in that union until his passing in 1974. Mrs. Saenz is survived by her three most precious gifts – her sons, Gilbert (and Sylvia) Saenz, David Roy (and Esther) Saenz and daughter, Margaret Saenz Kiolbassa(and Randall) who will always cherish and admire their mother’s unwavering faith, steadfast determination, untiring strength, self-sacrifice and unconditional love for them. But the greatest joy of all was the devoted, solid and caring bond that existed with her beloved seven grandchildren throughout their formative years (Ryan and Evan Kiolbassa, Jennifer Saenz Swisher, Deb Saenz, Theresa Saenz, Anna Saenz Montalbo and Andrew Saenz), as well as her ten great-grandchildren(Jonathan and Julianne Swisher, Adam Saenz, Matthew and Christian Garcia, Lauren Cardenas, Mario Montalbo Jr. and Alex Montalbo, Sammy Saenz, and Sarah Saenz) and three great-great-grandchildren(Joshua and Troy Cardenas, and Patrick James Garcia). No time or distance can ever replace the special love and the invaluable life lessons which she provided them. Until we meet again, we rest assured in the knowledge that her precious care and love will continue from above.
The family requests your presence as they celebrate Mrs. Saenz’s ninety seven wonderful years of memories and joy on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 Loop 1604 East with visitation starting at 5pm and a rosary service at 7pm.
