Angelina Pauline Agoitia

Angelina Agoitia, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on June 30, 1938, in Hutchinson, Kansas to Nellie Vieyra and Angel Garcia. She was preceded in death by her father, Angel Garcia; mother, Nellie Vierya; brother, Johnny Garcia; sisters, Theresa Mirelez, Amelia Carter, Eulalia Luna and Avalina Garcia. Angelina is survived by her husband, Jerry Agoitia -they married May 7th, 1960; children, Liz Agoitia (Rozy Abriso), Christopher Agoitia, Cheryl Hembroff (Don Spence), Valerie Sweet (Steve) and Tommy Agoitia; grand-daughters, Shauna Agoitia-Walden (Garrett), Victoria Sweet, Alexandria Sweet, Olivia Sweet and Rebecca Sweet; great-grandchildren, Haylie Walden, Conner Walden and Penelope Ramirez-Sweet; sisters, Mercedes Corne of AZ, Lydia Saiz of KS, Christina Montes (Alberto) of KS and Angel Garcia (Ruth) of TX; sister-in-law, Frances Garcia; numerous nieces/nephews and friends.

She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Angelina always made sure her family had everything they needed. She loved the holidays and bingo, going every chance she could. Angelina was a member of St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church for many years. Rest in peace Mom, we will miss you each and every day… Forever in our hearts and souls.

The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 PM on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
