Angelita Alvarez Martinez

Angelita Alvarez Martinez, born on September 10, 1929 in San Antonio, TX passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on June 21, 2018 at the age of 88. She was a dedicated member of St. Timothy’s Guadalupana Society and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She leaves a legacy as the Monarch of Beechaven Drive. She is preceded in death by her husband, Salvador G. Martinez and son, Henry A. Martinez. She is survived by her children, Sylvia Tejeda, Irene Martinez, Rene (Robin) Martinez and daughter-in-law, Diana Martinez; grandchildren, Steven Henry (Donna) Martinez, Angela Pesina (Jody) Alvey, Desiree Dion (Briana) Martinez, Deandra Dionne (Izrael) Martinez, Gabriella Nicole Martinez and Julianna Renee Martinez; great grandchildren, Seth Henry Martinez, Ethan Rene Alvey and Leilah Elexus Alvey and Ilyana Enri Martinez; sister, Ruth (Ralph) Guerrero. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Funeraira Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd. followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 1515 Saltillo St., San Antonio, TX 78207. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.
