Anita Rossett Berlanga

Anita Rossett Berlanga, age 88, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2021. She was born on May 24, 1932 in Runge, Texas to Horacio and Maria Rossett. Anita will be remembered for her generous heart and her passion for cooking. She was a dedicated employee for the San Antonio Independent School District for 21 years at Page Middle School Cafeteria. Anita was the last surviving sibling of the Rossett family of 13 children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Domingo H. Berlanga; daughter, Mary Grace Berlanga Cantu; parents, Horacio and Maria Rossett; her sisters: Juanita Villegas, Francisca Perez, Elisa Garcia, Angelita Lopez, Eloisa Rossett and Minerva Morales; brothers: Isabel Rossett, Isidro Rossett, Ismael Rossett, Horacio Rossett, Richard Rossett and Ignaciao Rossett. She is survived by her daughter, Lucy Berlanga; grandchildren AnaLisa Hernandez (Ronny), Michael Cantu (Zulema) and Kayla Berlanga; son in-law, Gerald Cantu and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Ms. Ana Khan and her staff at Dove’s Nest Assisted Living for their compassionate care. The family would also like to thank Harbour Hospice for their services.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Porter Loring Mortuary with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m.
