

Anna Beth Holland, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at the age of 70 years. Anna was born in Leon, Iowa, to Ralph Nichols and Dorothy May Nichols who preceded her in death.
Anna is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Mark Holland; sons, Mark "Drew" Holland (Evelyn), Burt Holland (Stephanie), and Ryan Holland (Andi); grandchildren, Christy, Mark, and James; sisters, Helen May Nichols and Bonita Van Kooten (Marty); brothers, David Nichols (Ellen) and Danny Nichols (Renee); and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was the light of her family. Anna was loved by all and will be greatly missed by so many friends.
Anna dedicated her life to Christ and was an active member of Oak Hills Church. Anna was a first grade teacher before becoming a devoted stay-at-home mother to her three sons. Anna and Mark loved to travel with their sons and their wives, grandchildren, and friends. Anna weathered ovarian cancer for seven years with the same grace and dignity as she lived her life. Anna will always be remembered for her kindness and deep faith.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 TO 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 19, 2016 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
