Annie M. Housler of San Antonio, TX went to be with the Lord January 31, 2015. Annie, born in County Clare, Ireland came to the United States in 1955 and became a citizen. She was a caring, self-sacrificing, loving, kind mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Annie was a devout Catholic with unwavering faith in God. She was active in many parishes, as Eucharistic minister, catechism teacher and long standing member of the Catholic Women's League. Annie went peacefully to heaven surrounded by her family at home.
She is survived by her children; Howard Housler, Martin Housler (Dawn), Anita Michels (Larry), & Kathleen Torpey (Sean), Grandchildren; Julie, Brandon, Amber, Tara, Francesca, Joseph, Jeffrey, Claire, Ian, Colin & Nolan, eight great grandchildren, sisters; Noreen Barnett (Jim), Myra Connolly and numerous nieces, nephews and many other relatives.
Annie was preceded in death by her brother Robert and mother Annie Culhane.
