Anthony Joseph Vertiz, born on April 7, 1979 in San Antonio, TX passed away February 2, 2016 at the age of 36. He was a devoted Texas Longhorn fan. He received a Batchelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Incarnate Word University. He is preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, Victor and Beatrice Vertiz; Maternal Grandparents, MSgt. Earl A. and Julia O’Connor; nephew, Nicholas Campbell. He is survived by his children, Presley Brianne Vertiz and Baby Vertiz; parents, Joe and Sylvia Vertiz; sister, Joanna Campbell; brother, Andrew Vertiz; niece, Julianna Campbell; nephews, Jonathan Vertiz and Christopher Campbell; the love of his life, Tracy Delgado; best friend, Roger Garcia; beloved pets, Duncan, Carter, Monroe, Truman and Fillmore; also, numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends. The Rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2016 followed by an 11:30 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Joseph’s (So. San) Catholic Church, 535 New Laredo Hwy. Services will conclude at the church.
