Antonia (Toni) Rios Saucedo, 85, passed away at home September 10, 2024. She was born May 7, 1939, in East Chicago, Indiana to Antonio Rios and Bernice Carnowski Rios. She married Rosendo Saucedo on September 7, 1957, and settled in Gary, Indiana. They moved to San Antonio in 1969. Toni worked in retail for many years, first at Joske’s and then Kmart. She enjoyed spending time at the Northeast Senior Center and casino trips.
Toni was preceded in death by her husband Rosendo, her parents, brothers Tony C. Rios and Stanley Rios, and sisters Margaret A. Santana and Helen Carrillo. She is survived by her children, Teresa Gomez (Lupe), Rosemary Silvers-Acevedo (John), Rolando Saucedo (Linda), Sylvia Crumley, Christina Perez, Rosendo Saucedo, Jr. (Theresa), and Gerardo (Jerry) Saucedo, 20 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, brothers Daniel Rios and Manuel Rios and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be September 16, 2024, from 6-8pm, Funeral Service will be on September 17, 2024, at 11:00am, with burial to follow all at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
