Araceli, affectionately known as Sally, was born on June 15, 1960, in San Antonio, Texas. She was a 1978 graduate of Edison High School and attended San Antonio College.
She married Gerald Berg on July 7, 1990, in San Antonio. Araceli was a member of Our Lady of Humility Church, Beach Park, IL. She enjoyed quilting and was a devoted wife, mother, sister and daughter.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald Berg; two sons, Harrison and Andrew Berg, all of Waukegan, IL; father, Edmundo Camarillo and wife Delia of Macomb, MI; mother, Annie Carrico of San Antonio, TX; two brothers, Edmundo Camarillo and wife Debbie of San Antonio, TX and Vicente Camarillo and wife Rosalin of Michigan; sisters, M. Theresa Coe and husband Brian of California, Esther Tocco and husband Joseph of Kyle, TX, and Dorothea Sanchez of Michigan; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts and uncles.
Araceli was preceded in death by her step-father, Robert Carrico.
