

Arlene L. Yeschke, born January 7, 1928, in Grant Township, Kansas, passed away December 31, 2021, at the age of 93. Preceding her in death was her husband, William F Yeschke, Sr., her parents Frank and Ida Mae Landon. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, William F. Yeschke, Jr. and Pat of Gonzales, TX; grandchildren, Chris & Valerie Yeschke, and Curtis Yeschke; great grandchildren, Liberty Yeschke and Caleb Yeschke. Special extended family: Jim and Barbara Smart, Rudolpho and Alicia Carrizales their children and grandchildren, Carlo and Marilynn Ienna, Margie Wilson, Keith and Dot Kolar, and many others from The Rainbow Hills neighborhood.
Arlene was a joyous, wonderful spirit who will be missed by many. She was a wealth of knowledge and strove every day to keep up with current events, and everyday happenings in the world. An independent spirit, she taught many how to find joy in nature, with her knowledge of gardening, and a love for the outdoors. Arlene will be truly missed, but her light will shine on us for eternity and the memories will stay tucked in the recesses of each of our minds always. She was dearly loved.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Grave-side service will be held at The Ft. Sam Houston Cemetery in Shelter 3, San Antonio, Texas, on January 28, 2022, at 10:30 a.m
