He was born in Houston, Texas on May 23, 1980, and later moved to San Antonio, Texas with his family where he attended grade school at St. Anthony Catholic School followed by Alamo Heights High School. He had settled in Houston where he was pursuing a career as a petroleum land man and had recently obtained his real estate license.
Armando was at a peaceful place in life. He enjoyed serving the Lord by volunteering for Catholic Men’s ACTS Retreats, where he had previously served as a team member in the music ministry in Texas and Arizona.
A deep soul with a great sense of humor, he had a big heart and an infectious smile. He was blessed with the unique ability of always empathizing with and seeing the best in others. He was happiest when surrounded by his family and friends: traveling, hunting, or singing and playing the guitar with his niece and nephew, Stella and Cisco. He had a lifelong passion for music and animals, including his rescue dog Fonzie.
Of the many beloved things about Armando, we will miss his loving presence, compassionate soul, and kind heart.
Armando is survived by his parents, Armando and Lupita Medina; his siblings and their spouses Sonya and Gene Williams, Marcella and Barclay Nihill, and Javier and Iva Medina; his nephews and niece Cisco Williams, Stella Raquel Williams and Cassian Medina; and his cherished dog Fonzie.
He was predeceased by his adoring grandparents, Francisco and Herlinda Medina and Ramiro and Edna Flores.
