Arthur Contreras Cancino, born on July 23, 1932 in Hunter, TX was called to be with the Lord on August 16, 2016 at the age of 84. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Esperanza B. Cancino; sons, Arthur B. Cancino Jr., Robert B. Cancino, Rudy B. Cancino (Gloria), Ernest B. Cancino (Rose) and James B. Cancino; grandchildren, Arthur Cancino III, Jason Cancino, Tammy Hernandez, Eli Cancino, Rudy Cancino Jr., Justin Matthew Cancino, Crystal Ann Cancino, Ernest Cancino Jr., Valerie Bravo, Roxanne Williams and James Cancino Jr.; numerous great grandchildren; sister, Guadalupe Perez; favorite cousin, Josie Martinez. The Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, 747 S.W. 39th St., San Antonio, TX 78237. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No. 2.
