We are still in disbelief that our dearest Robert is gone; but relieved to know that he IS with our God and IS healed. 
Robert is definitely a Ponce, as he favors my dad, his uncle Juan, in his looks, dark skin and quiet, easy-going demeanor. I will always admire his love for his high school sweetheart and wife, Gloria, for he fulfilled his marital vows until the end. Young, true and forever love is just not as common as much. 
I will always remember his love for music and his days of playing in the band. I will always, especially, remember our Sunday gatherings in Martindale, when growing up. 
Robert, I will always carry you in my thoughts and in my heart.
