

Left behind to cherish Arthur's memory is his wife, Estella Pena Cser; children, Louise (Mike) Lowak and Martha (Casey) Jones; brother, Fred Cser; grandchildren, Anne and Brian Lowak, Jack and Kirby Granger, Courtney Price and great grandchild, River Price.
Arthur is preceded in death and reunited in Heaven with his parents, his in-laws, brothers and sisters, Daniel, Virginia, Michael and Elizabeth, and his son, Paul Cser.
Arthur was a devout Catholic. He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged on 1956. Arthur joined the U.S. Border Patrol in 1960 and served in El Paso, Bracketville, Del Rio, Eagle Pass, and Detroit. He then transferred to U.S. Customs Service in 1967 and served in Beaumont, Laredo, and San Antonio. Arthur retired after a successful career in 1986 as a Senior Customs Agent and was proud of the 28 years that he served in civil service. After retirement, Arthur dabbled in insurance and insurance investigations. He also volunteered with the Memorial Service Detachment Honor Guard every Thursday with his squad for 20 years at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, ensuring that all veterans received proper military burial honors.

A visitation for Arthur will be held Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 9:00 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 8134 Blanco Rd, San Antonio, TX 78216. A rosary & vigil will follow at 9:30 AM with a funeral mass at 10:00 AM. There will be a catered reception between mass and the committal service at 11:30 AM held at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 N Loop 1604 E., San Antonio, Texas 78232. The committal service will take place from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
