Augusta S. Thompson

Augusta S. Thompson, age 93, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015 in San Antonio. She was born on July 1, 1921 in Katemcy, Texas, to Samuel Russell Sallee and Annie Turner. Augusta was a long time member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and enjoyed being part of the Altar Society. She was also active in the Sultanas de Bejar. Augusta was a member and past president of Wives of San Antonio Executives Association and a lifetime member of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. She and her husband, Ed loved to travel and they owned and operated their own travel agency for many years. Augusta will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband, Jess Willard Millsap; 2nd husband, James Edwin Thompson; 5 siblings and 2 grandchildren. Augusta is survived by her daughters: Sandra Rogers, Susan Franks and her husband, Bill, Patricia Thielen and her husband, Mike; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
