Aurelio Talamantes Sr.

Aurelio Talamantes Sr., age 50, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Aurelio was a devoted husband, family man, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Frank Castillo Jr., grandparents, Susie Talamantes and Jesse Barrera.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Maria Talamantes, his children, Aurelio Talamantes Jr., Susan Talamantes, Isabella Talamantes, grandchildren, Diamond Talamantes, Emiliano Talamantes, Avyana Talamantes, Amariah Talamantes, Ariella Talamantes, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He is also survived by his parents, Isabel Talamantes, siblings, Rosaria Talamantes, Bernadette Talamantes, Jose Saucedo Jr., numerous extended family members, and friends.

Aurelio will be remembered for his generous spirit, his unwavering dedication to his family, and his ability to bring joy to every room he entered. Aurelio had a playful sense of humor and a big personality that made everyone feel welcome. He loved to barbecue, go fishing, watch movies, and the Houston Texans — simple joys that reflected his love for life and his easy going spirit. Above all, his family was the center of his world. He was a great man who worked hard, loved deeply, and always put his loved ones first.

Aurelio’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, located at 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX 78211, on November 10, 2025, from 12:00 pm until 8:00 am the following day. A Prayer Service will take place at the same location on November 10, 2025, at 7:00 pm.

The Funeral Service will be conducted at San Juan De Los Lagos Catholic Church, 3231 El Paso St, San Antonio, TX 78207, on November 11, 2025, at 10:00 am.
