Austin Franklin Henry, Jr, born July 26, 1921 in San Antonio went home peacefully to our Lord on Wednesday, October 21, 2009.
Franklin accepted Christ as his savior at the age of nine. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps during World War II and served on Saipan in the South Pacific. When he returned home he married Evelyn Jolly and enjoyed a wonderful marriage of 63 years.
Franklin worked in Civil Service at Kelly Field for 35 years.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Henry; son, David Frank Henry and wife, Deanna; daughter, Linda Elaine Wolff and husband, Bill; granddaughters, Melody Brown and Monica Melant and husband, Sam; six great grandchildren; and other loving family members.
The family gives their appreciation to Marivel Silva, Mari Zamora and Vista Care for their loving care and support.
