Beatrice Bea Shaner, age 89, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 in San Antonio, Texas. Bea was a loving and devoted mother and also a gifted musician, artist and caregiver of family members during their time of need. She loved Jesus, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; parents; Oscar and Lula Crace Salyer, sisters; Effie Salyer, Edith McConkey and Florence Salyer; brothers, Oscar "Buddy" and Alton Perry. Beatrice is survived by her daughter, Nancy C. and husband Barry Ream; sisters, Roberta Paul, Dianna Penwell and husband Paul; sister in law, Barbara Salyer; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Bea will be missed by many especially her only child and son in law. The family will receive friends from 3:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2011.
