FEBRUARY 21, 1919 – JANUARY 25, 2015
Benno Fritz Brandt, 95, passed away on January 25, 2015 in The Woodlands, Texas. He was born on February 21, 1919 in Boerne, Texas and also grew up there. Benno served as a tail gunner in the Navy during WWII. He was married for 65 years to Velma. The majority of his life he worked as a salesman for Lone Star Distillery in San Antonio, Texas. After Velma passed away, he moved to The Woodlands, Texas to be closer to family. While living in The Woodlands, he made lots of friends and simply enjoyed life. He is survived by daughters, Peggy Tholen and husband, Mark, Betty Cuculic and husband, Mark, and brother, Clarence. He has four grandchildren, Tiffany Baker, Zach Hjornevik, Jill McGuire, and Paul Tholen, and six great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by parents, Bruno and Rosie, brothers, Marvin and Clifton, and wife, Velma. Funeral will be at 11:00 Friday, January 30, at Faithbridge Church, 18000 Stuebner Airline , Spring, Texas 77379.
