Bernard Leverant, age 85, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2002. He was a native of Hartford, CT, and had lived in Deerfield Beach, FL, before moving to San Antonio, a year and a half ago. He was a devoted husband and father, as well as an award-winning photographer. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy; son, Gerald Leverant and daughter-in-law, Michele DuBrow of San Antonio; daughter, Sandra Silverman of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren, Debra Tant of Marietta, GA, Gerilyn Pats of Clarksville, MD, Lori Leverant of Austin, TX, and David Zingeser of Damascus, MD; and four great-grandchildren.
