Bert Ruiz, of San Antonio, died Sunday, July 3, 2011. Bert was a devoted and loving husband and father.
He received his Masters Degree in Health Administration from Texas State University. Bert retired as an R.N. after a very interesting 30 years of nursing service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Natividad Ruiz.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Alice Ruiz; son, Eamon Ruiz; brothers, Jesse Ruiz and wife, Helen, and Benito Ruiz; parents-in-law, Tom and Stella Carrizales; sisters-in-law, Maria Green, Adelita Carrizales, Liza Ryan and Reesa Kutscher; brothers-in-law, Michael Carrizales, Armando Carrizales and Marcus Carrizales; and nieces and nephews.
