Bessie L. Cruz

Basilia “Bessie” Lopez Cruz born on September 03, 1919 in San Antonio, Texas was called home to be with the Lord, on August 18, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 98. Bessie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Antonio M. Cruz, Sr. and sons, Jesse Rodriguez and Ramonsito Rodriguez. She is survived by her loving children, Lucy Duran (Pete), Mary Camargo (Fred), Tony L. Cruz, Jr. (Lucy), Yolanda Gamez (Aurelio), Felix L. Cruz (Ana); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Bessie was a loving mother and wonderful grandmother, as well as a devoted catholic and will be greatly missed by her family, whom loved her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary reciting at 7:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2018 for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
