Betty Ann Curtis

Betty was born in Huntingdon, PA on June 6,1961, and spent her early years in Mount Union, PA. She graduated from Mount Union Area High School in 1979, and went on to receive her Associate Degree from Mount Aloysius College. From there, Betty proudly served in the United States Air Force for 10-years.

Anyone who knew Betty, knew that she was the life of any party and could outshine even the brightest of stars. She had a huge heart, and lived to help others. Betty was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. In her 56 years on this earth, Betty influenced many lives and will be missed by all that were blessed to know her.

Betty is survived by her husband, Richard Curtis, her daughters, Brandy (Michael) and Cierra Young, her granddaughters, Madison and Aria Schultz, step daughter, Skyler Curtis, her mother, Margareta Hewitt, her siblings LeRoy, Richard (Sarah), Robert, Edwina (Melvin), Edward, Joyce, LaJune (William), Helen (Marcus) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Betty is preceded in death by her father, Adlazar Rogers, and her brothers, William and George Rogers.

The Visitation will be held on March 2, 2018, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, located at 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238.

The Funeral Service will be held on March 3, 2018, at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home at 11:30am, to be followed by the 1:00pm Interment at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78219.
