Betty Jean Grant was born in Muscogee, Oklahoma to Georgia B. White and Otto Hutchins. She was the eldest of 7 children. She survived by a brother, Henry Hutchins and a sister, Annette Hutchins. Betty Grant was the mother of 5 children: Billy, Leonard, Anthony, Yolanda, and Donnell.
After her children became adults she then got her education. She ended up a RN with a BS degree.

Thanks to Betty Grant’s granddaughters Althea Flowers and Tatiana McGarity who walked, watched, and did not worry. Thanks to Pastor Patricia Grant my lovely wife for life for loving my moma so much. Last but not least, thanks to Yolanda and Robert Adams for standing with her.
