She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be greatly missed. She was a child care provider at Central Christian Church for many years and she was a passionate gardener who was loved by all she knew.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, William and Meade Wittington; her husband, Howard Millard Smith; her daughter, Nancy Gail Farmer; her siblings, Eula, and William; and brother-in-law, Lee. She is survived by her children, Sue Ellen Postell and her husband, Scott; grandchildren, Chelsea, Nicholas, Tracy; great grandchildren, Kayla and Janie; great great-grandchildren, Addy and Haddy, and many friends.
