Bill Edward Love

Bill Edward Love, age 81, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. Bill was born July 9, 1932 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Willis and Ruth Love. He graduated from the University of Tennessee and was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. Bill served in the U.S. Army as a 1st Lieutenant. He had a fifty year career in the Apparel Industry. Bill was a long time resident of Windcrest and a member of Trinity Baptist Church for many years. He was a charter member of The Fellowship of San Antonio where he served as a Deacon, Elder and an active choir member. Bill was a loving husband, a terrific dad and grandfather. He will be missed by his loving family and all who knew him.

Bill is preceded in death by his wife Bobbie. He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Love Beaman and husband, Jeff; three sons, Bill Love and wife, Christy, Mike Love and wife, Lisa and Greg Love and wife Susan; grandchildren, Shannon Beaman Pipkin and husband, Eric, Katie Beaman Ta and husband Ty, Mandy Love, Allie Love, Benjamin Love, Abby Love, Caroline Love and Bella Love; sister, Susan Elwell and husband, Michael.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary North Reflection Room.

Anyone who has sung with Bill in the past, or would like to participate, there will be a celebration chorus beginning at 3:00 pm on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the Fellowship of San Antonio.
