Born in Graham, TX, on December 18, 1930, to Charles and Ollie Thompkins, he was a graduate of Brackenridge High School and an Army veteran. He owned and operated Bill's Auto Sales for over 37 years. A true Texas fan, he loved the Spurs, the Cowboys, and Texas Hold-em on TV, but it was his true love of Keno that made Las Vegas almost his second home.
Bill was a good-hearted man, always willing to help others even if it cost him. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great friend, he will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Louise; 2 daughters, Lori K. Lupton and her husband Mickey, and Darla Estrada and her husband Bobby; and 2 grandsons, Michael B. Rackley and Aaron Estrada.
