Bob Gary Thompson

He received his Medical Doctorate from the University of Iowa.

He is survived by his wife, Carmen; his daughter, Larae Carmen Nordstrom, her husband, Jeff Nordstrom and their three children: Rachel, Travis and Luke; his daughter, Kerrie Sue Halmi, her husband, Mark Halmi and their two children: Kylie and Lauren; his son, Nathan Robert Thompson, his wife Mandy Thompson, and their three children: Chloe, Rebecca and Micah; his sister, Mildred Hanson; his brother, Wayne Thompson; and his sister, Mary Lou Simon.

He is preceded in death by his son, Kai Robert Thompson; his father, Lewis O. Thompson; his mother, Myrtle Harriet Thompson; his sisters Sylvia Ryan and Lois Boyd; his brothers Lyle Thompson, Lewis Thompson Jr. and Stan Thompson.

Bob passed away peacefully on July 19, 2014 surrounded by his loved ones.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Porter Loring North Reflection Room.
