Bobby Ferguson

Robert “Bobby” Ferguson, age 68, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. Bobby was born in Topeka, Kansas on August 31, 1952 to Robert Floyd and Corrine Ferguson. He was a graduate of Andrews Highschool and attended Sul Ross State University in Alpine, TX. He married Linda Dudley of Wink, TX in 1977. Together they raised two sons, Robert and Blake. Bobby worked as an automation specialist in the oil and gas industry.

He retired from British Petroleum after 30 years of employment, most of which was spent on offshore platforms in the Gulf of Mexico. He enjoyed 43 years of marriage with his wife, Linda. They lived and worked throughout New Mexico, Texas and Wyoming. He was a devoted father to Robert and Blake, and known as Pops to his five grandchildren, Tyler, Trey, Brody, Bryce and Nia.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Floyd Ferguson.

He is survived by his wife Linda Ferguson, Mother- Corrine Ferguson, Sisters- Patty Belisle and Diane Patton, Son- Robert and his wife, Tiffany, Son- Blake and his wife, Naara, and Grandchildren- Tyler, Trey, Brody, Bryce and Nia.

He considered his family and friends his greatest gifts in life. Bobby lived a spontaneous life full of fun and adventures. He is loved by many and will be missed by all.
